About
The Whoop-um-up equestrian campground is located 56 miles northeast of the state capitol of Idaho. There are six campsites with hitching posts and water. There are lots of wildlife and summer flowers. The historic town of Idaho City is just 11 miles away. The site is close to the Crooked River, which offers rainbow trout fishing. State Highway 21 snakes along Mores Creek to Mores Creek Summit, Gold Fork, and Banner Ridge with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and forest. The campground is close to the Crooked River which is a great place to catch a rainbow trout. There are a lot of trail opportunities in the area. The area becomes a playground for skiers and snowmobilers in the winter.
