The park is located downstream of the dam on the river. The park is located in the wildlife area. The park has mature shade trees. There are two softball fields and a playground for the children at the park. There is also close access to the trail system. West Park has two picnic shelters. The West Park 1 Steelhead Shelter and the West Park 2 Coho Shelter both have picnic tables. Both shelters have electricity. There are some attractions in close proximity to West Park.
