About
The location is west of Las Vegas in the California Mojave Desert. The lights of Vegas are visible on the Eastern horizon, but the entire of the Milky Way is not visible to us because of light pollution. The China Ranch date farm is 30 min West of us. It takes 40 minutes to get to the swimming hole and waterfall from China Ranch. It is located in the middle of an ancient lake bed surrounded by mountains that are perfect for rock scrambling and Red Rock is nearby as well. It is recommended for experienced campers who are not used to wilderness living.
