IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR WINTER GLAMPING: Did you know that both of our glamp sites offer propane heat? That means you can glamp all year round! Pack your warm clothes, stock up on firewood and stay at our cozy lake front sites. We provide the propane! WHAT'S DIFFERENT? We do need to shut off our water during the colder months, so our showers, sinks and running toilets will not be available from 11/1/22 - 5/1/23. We do not provide the additional tent or offer boat rentals during the off-season (max 4 people/ tent). However, during this time we offer each site a private portable toilet, 2 complimentary propane tanks that are hooked up to the heater, a firepit and wood for sale, a list of off-season local attractions, fresh linens, a bright lantern and weather-permitting amenities such as: fishing, cornhole, scavenger hunt and more. Details: At Lake Genero's glamping sites in the Poconos, you can unwind with less hassle and spend time more time enjoying the well-kept grounds. Our glamping sites are great for couples or for families. Rent a rowboat, kayak or pedal boat and enjoy the lake (seasonal). Have your coffee or read a book in the Adirondack chairs on your tent deck overlooking the water. Play a game of volleyball, corn hole or ring toss and make s'mores around the campfire. There is also an expansive 36' x 90' pavilion with electricity overlooking the 7-acre lake. Your campsite at G1 - Hilltop Haven accommodates up to 6 campers with 2 on the Queen bed in the 10' x 12' Safari platform tent and up to 4 additional campers in the included pop-up tent. For parents with toddlers or young children, the spacious canvas tent can fit a pack-n-play or even a twin air mattress next to the Queen bed. The Queen bed is outfitted with a 5" memory foam mattress and linens; if you plan to use the pop-up tent, please bring sleeping bags and consider mats or air mattresses for comfort. The glamping site also has a picnic table with a prep station, two Adirondack chairs, and a fire pit with grill top. You will have access to the on-site restroom facility with hot showers and bathrooms (SEASONAL). The Space: Lakeside glamping site at Lake Genero in the Poconos - 44-acre private campground with kayaking, row-boating, pedal boating, fishing, volleyball and more! Guest Access: This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean. Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. What you should bring: -S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat -A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling Firewood Interaction with Guests: Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location. If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
