About
This Tentrr site is outfitted with an extensive range of Coleman camping gear. Unwind in style with a large cooler, grill, shade canopy, lanterns, speaker, camp chairs, wagon, and more!
Drive into your campsite immediately you will hear the sounds of a babbling creek, by giant rhododendrons under magnificent hemlocks and oaks--a truly natural and relaxing experience.
Campers can enjoy a short hike to our private waterfall with a swimming hole or lay in a hammock next to the creek. This site is surrounded by over 400 privately owned acres of natural forests with several miles of marked trails. The campsite is adjoined by Lehigh Gorge State Park and PA State Game Lands. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended for hiking. Just minutes away there are outdoor adventures galore: white water rafting, kayaking, biking trips on a rails-to-trails biking path, Skirmish Paint Ball, hiking in Glen Onoko Falls, and Hickory Run State Parks, and the beautiful mountaintop entertainment venue Penn's Peak, and so much more. Jim Thorpe, the historic and quaint town, is just 15 minutes from the campsite, with its many fine eateries, shops, the Lehigh Gorge Rail Road, and the Asa Packer mansion. For additional pictures check out campdietrich on Instagram. Campsite maps are best viewed on desktop browsers.
Your Signature campsite sleeps up to 8 people with 4 campers included in the base rate. The Queen bed in the main tent sleeps 2 campers and a large on-site pop-up tent can house six additional campers. The campsite also comes with a picnic table, fire pit, and Adirondack chairs. The dining area is covered by a canopy. As a Coleman Outfitted Site, you'll enjoy some extras including a Coleman Grill, lanterns, a lighted canopy, extra table/chairs, and more! Additionally, our property has a "Checkpoint Shed" where campers at any of our campsites can borrow gear. Bedding, extra firewood, and a power station are available for a fee as extras (see below).

The Space:
Secluded campsite along Bear Creek in the Poconos, features a spacious safari tent with a queen bed, a covered picnic deck, a roomy 8-person pop-up tent, and an assortment of Coleman camping gear.
Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with farmers, ranchers, and other property owners to offer unique outdoor accommodations on beautiful private land. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise.
Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed inside (each site is different, see photos for the exact setup). Larger groups can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided (you___re welcome to bring your own camping gear too). You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.
What you should bring:
-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling
-Bedding and pillows
-Lanterns and lighting
-Water
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.
If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper___s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry!
Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.
Tentrr Extras:
These are other amenities, services, or activities that may be provided by your CampKeeper for an additional fee. Please let us know in advance if you'd like to add these to your booking so that we can process payment. Availability of any Extras are not guaranteed and must be confirmed at least 24 hours prior to check-in.
