About

This Tentrr site is outfitted with an extensive range of Coleman gear. Unwind in style with a large cooler, camp stove, food prep table, shade canopy, and more! (Campers must bring their own propane fuel, pots/pans/plates and utensils.) This campsite sits at an elevation of nearly 10,000ft, making this the highest Tentrr site in the World! The site sits on 100 acres of private, pristine Colorado mountain land that offers over 3 miles of private hiking trails and unrivaled views in all directions. To the North is Americas Mountain- the monstrous 14,115 Pikes Peak. Expansive views from the tent to the South overlook Beaver Creek Canyon and the Arkansas river valley, which sits nearly 5,000ft below the property allowing you to easily see 100+ miles into the horizon. Take a stroll through a lush aspen grove with towering aspen trees, hike through a pine forest ravine or relax in a sunny meadow - this campsite has it all. The campsite is very private yet accessible to many amenities and activities. Its a 15 minute drive to Victor, or 25 minutes to Cripple Creek where many tourist attractions await. Mining tours, gold panning, gaming and gambling, restaurants, railroad tours and more! Drive, bike or hike just a few miles down the road to Skagway reservoir to enjoy excellent trout fishing. There is a hiking trailhead near the dam at Skagway that follows the river into Beaver Creek canyon with tons of beautiful granite formations- fish, hike or climb in this incredible area. To make your getaway even more convenient the host offers an extra (at additional cost) Adventure Gear Shed thats packed with all the stuff to make our campers' time here even more unforgettable- unlimited firewood, fishing equipment, SUP boards, mountain bikes, hiking gear, outdoor games, dog gear, extra tent and chairs. The Space: Best views on all of Tentrr! Over 100 acres of private camping with 100+ mile views & over 3 miles of private hiking trails. All the best that Colorado has to offer...Massive aspen trees, 14,115' Pike's Peak towering above & sunny meadows. Located just over an hour from Colorado Springs. Guest Access: This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean. Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. What you should bring: -S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat -Bedding and pillows Water Interaction with Guests: Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper___s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set! Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your reservation confirmation on Airbnb. Your CampKeeper is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). If you have any questions regarding your reservation, Tentrr Customer Support can be reached at (888) 798-9093 or at hello@tentrr.com. Other Things to Note: The site is very remote! Please be sure to check in with your CampKeeper for directions to the property and establishing your ETA before getting on the road. We operate our sites as self service. This means no cleaning fees, however, guests are required to bring their own bedding and drinking water. Additionally, guests will need to clean the rental and remove their trash before checking out. NOTE ON COLEMAN PRODUCTS: Because we're in bear country, we cannot leave the Coleman cookware products outside and available to all guests. In order to access the Coleman cookstove and other Coleman products you must upgrade to the Adventure Gear Shed. If you do not upgrade to the gear shed, you will need to bring your own camping grill and/or stove. No wood burning stoves, propane only. We do not allow wood burning camp fires. However, we do provide a propane fire pit that you can use if you would like to have a fire. Note that if youd like to use the propane fire pit, youll need to bring your own propane. The fire pit runs off a 20lb propane bottle (the same bottle that connects to home BBQ grills). Please take precautions for bears and mountain lions. Keep food in bear-proof containers or in your vehicle. Absolutely no firearms or shooting is allowed. Do not carve into the trees or damage them in any way. You must bring in your own water supply. Do not litter or leave cigarette butts. You must pack out all trash and waste, including toilet bags. Please be prepared to pack your trash out. There are not trash facilities on site. Please pick up pet waste since it can build up and bother future guests. Cows occasionally graze through the property, please do not approach or try to pet them. Total Bedrooms: 1 Total Bathrooms: 1
