About
It gives access to the trail. It is a moderate hike to go the mile long section of the trail. The face of Slide Mountain is visible along the route. If you visit Slide Lake you can escape from it all and enjoy yourself. The dispersed camping sites at the lake are a good beginner backpacking destination. The mountain lake in the northwest part of Oregon is called Slide Lake. Visitors need a lot of water.
