Sheridan State Fishing Lake

It is located in the rolling prairie and cropland covered hills of western Kansas and is a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. There is no charge for camping at the lake, which is surrounded by timber and native grass. There are designated sites that provide primitive camping near the shoreline. The picnic tables and fire rings are found at many of the sites. The Department wants any fires to be contained in the metal fire rings and not to cause any problems. There are modern vault toilets on the east and west sides of the lake.
