Elk River Hiking Trail

The hiking trail is on the northwest side of the lake. The trail can be accessed from two different locations. The campsites are all along the trail. The top of the limestone bluffs on the northwestern shores of Elk City Lake offer panoramic views of the river and the lake. The trail crosses several small streams and ravines and winds through narrow canyons. The trail has blue blazes and mile markers.
