Campers on the Wyoming prairie were like pioneers on the Oregon Trail. There are many views of the mountains and open range. It's 15 miles north of Wheatland or 10 miles west of Guernsey, WY. It is easy to find a place to park and stay if you are looking for it. It is a great place to stay in the summer or winter. For those traveling the rodeo circuit or not.
