Soldier Rock Area - Glendo State Park

**Four wheel drive is recommended for anyone planning to camp in Soldier Rock.** Soldier Rock is a campground which has three small sections along Lakeshore Drive. Each area provides good access to the water, partially shaded campsites, and several sheltered coves which are excellent spaces for families to gather and spend a day on the lakeshore. All of the campsites in Soldier Rock are fairly primitive, without gravel camping and/or parking pads. Each site is marked by a number sign, a table, and a fire pit. Access roads to each section are narrow and poorly developed, which makes this campground suitable for smaller camping units and tents.
