About

Drinking water is available at a number of places. Bring water with you if you're traveling elsewhere on the island. Do not wash soaps and detergents in lakes and streams. It's a good idea to wash dishes and clothes in a pot, then dump the waste water in a hole near the nearest water supply. It was similar to Bathe. The campsite is 75 yards from Lake Superior and Murray Bay Beach. The site is 1.5 miles from William's Landing. The nearest drinking water is at the Murray Bay Day Use Area. The site can hold up to 6 people. A latrine, food storage pole, locker, fire ring, benches and firewood are located near the campsite. The trail system on the island leads to the Murray Bay Beach.
