About

The day use area is not the location for primitive camping. It is not allowed to camp within a quarter mile of the river. Plastic containers are the best for storing glass containers. It's better to leave the trail clean than to pack out all the trash. The Las Conchas Day Use site is located next to the East Fork Jemez River and offers fishing access and picnic facilities. There are uses for picnicking, hiking and fishing. Nine picnic sites have grills. The toilet is in a vault.
