The Santa Fe National Forest has camping areas that are all over the place. There are only a toilet and electrical hookups for RV or trailer camping. Unless otherwise stated, primitive camping can be found on the Santa Fe National Forest. You will find a picnic table in the areas that do not offer any ammenities. Animals and plants are sensitive to the area next to the water. The Rio Grande restoration is explained in more detail on the Respect the Rio site.
