About
The central part of Rapides Parish is home to the Indian Creek Recreation Area. The area contains over 2000 acres of Indian Creek lake and over 250 acres of primitive camping. Water and electricity are available at many campsites in the area. A covered pavilion is also located in the main park, as well as handicap parking, beach areas, and a boat launch. A lot of trails are used to look for plants and animals. The bird is also found here. The trees have white paint on them.
