About
There is a camp that provides for camping. The city was third in size in Louisiana in the pre-Civilwar years, and half a million troops trained for World War 2 in Old Camp Claiborne. The trail is mostly used for motorized and equestrian riders. It is used by equestrian riders. The campground has no access to water. The most prominent of the facilities is a vault restroom, located next to the campsite.
