About

Houston Valley will remain closed. Extensive damage has occurred to the site due to flooding. Houston Valley Recreation Area in Cocke County is centrally located to both the Paint Creek and Weaver Bend areas. The small campground has eight widely-spaced campsites. Picnic facilities for small and large groups include a covered pavilion and three areas with clustered tables and grills. Flush bathrooms are available, but there is not potable water at this site.
