About
The backwaters of the Alabama River offer a peaceful scene of trees and nature. The fishing is challenging for the master fisherman and occasionally for the cane pole fisherman. Facilities for boating, hunting, and hiking are popular. The new renovated sites have concrete pads and sewer. There are flush toilets, showers, drinking water, a dump station and laundry facilities. The picnic shelter is located on Catoma Creek. The region has a mild climate for camping.
