It provided hundreds of miles of trails to help the off-road enthusiast. According to the source, Jean Dry Lake is in the area. After a wet day the lake bed could flood and retain water for a long time. The lakebed can hold more than 10 feet of water after significant precipitation. It is a bad idea to go to a lake after a rain. The limited motorized vehicle use outside the lake bed is a reflection of this.
