About

The forest has a quiet lake called Antelope Lake. The Mt. has a lake at 5000 feet in elevation. The district was called the Hough Ranger District. It is a small lake with fifteen miles of shoreline. The mountains surround the lake and are covered with pine and fir trees. Several species of birds are attracted to coves around the lake. The campgrounds are usually open in the summer and closed in the fall. These dates can change as the snow levels in the area change. Theordinates show that the lake is located 30 miles NE of Taylorsville. The correct place to take County Road is from Janesville, on Highway 395. It's for four miles then the fs road. Go for nine miles and then turn right on the road. It was for two miles. The closest towns to purchase gasoline are Greenville and Janesville.
