About This Trail
It is doable in a sedan, but it is a process. The park at yellow jacket is no longer used as a ranger station. Water shouldn't be an issue, because you follow a creek almost the entire 10 miles. If you're looking for flowers, this is the spot. It is possible to get to Yellow Jacket Lake via a forest road. There is also a waterfall.
