About This Trail
One side of Big Chico Creek will loop up and down the other. It's hard to duplicate the variety of micro- environments. There is a creek, bright sun over basalt, oak woodland, etc. It is hard to Ford the creek if you do not check the Department of water resources before you go. The best display of wildflowers in the park is found along the hike.
