The Wyler Aerial Tramway Deck and Ranger Peak are accessible from the parking lot. Start climbing up from the trail. The ridgeline is 0.88 miles from the trail. The Directissimo Trail joins the Ridgeline Trail #1 to the Tramway Platform. You will reach the B-36 overlook at 1.00 miles. The B-36 crash site can be seen from the mountain to the west. For more information, see the FMSP-B36 hike. The trail switch-back up another 0.75 miles to the Wyler aerial tramway platform. If you bought tickets for the ride, catch the tram when you are ready. It is possible to hike down for free on the same trail.
