Wilson M Powell Wildlife Preserve Loop

The preserve contains a stream, a marshy area, and Reilly Pond, all of which are protected by the Columbia County Land Conservancy. The Sanctuary has habitat for many song birds. There is a small pond and stream valley with treasures of ferns and lichens not found elsewhere in the Sanctuary. Dorsons Rock is an excellent place to view hawks and unusual flora. If you hike up to Dorsons Rock, you can take a look at the Red-tailed and Broad-winged Hawks in the sky.
