About This Trail

Imported description

The forested trail leading to a cellar hole led to Luther FWud's 18th century homestead. The land that the bee's family used to manage was reclaimed by the hemlock, beech and maple. The trail is the official point of entry for the preserve, it's the only entryway that shows trail maps. A place for walking and observing wildlife is managed by The Nature Conservancy. Vehicles, including pets, are not allowed on the preserve.
