Wildcat Moutain to Indian Hill

The old iron furnace has views. The hike starts on a mountain. It takes you up and over the mountain. You can take the Furnace loop if you cross the Mombasha creek. It was used in the 1800's when the area was well known for its Iron industries. The Indian Hill trail takes you to the Furnace loop. You can see the Ramapos on the Indian Hill trail. The Indian Hill trail goes into a valley that used to be farmland. The only thing left are stone walls. The trail goes back up on the Western knoll of Indian Hill if you get more views. The Indian Hill Trail goes back to the Furnace loop. Get back onto the loop and then back onto the loop. It was to parking.
