About This Trail
From the 15 and head west. The road turns into dirt immediately, and you can see the road you're following going to the mountain. Pick one of the little roads and have fun. You will end up going through sand washes and rocky desert patches. If you're into that sort of thing, you'll come to a few places that are popular for shooting. Once you get to the fork, you can go and explore around, there are lots of little off shoots and roads to wander around on. It is a well maintained road that will take you to Route 66. One of those road side attractions is at the Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch.
