Wawona Meadow Loop Trail [CLOSED]

If you are looking for an easy walk to explore Wawona, consider the Wawona Meadow loop. The trailhead is located next to the Wawona Hotel. It's a level stroll around the meadow and most of it is under tree cover, which makes it a perfect hike for the afternoon when the sun is out and the temperatures are at their hottest. If you are looking for wildlife, you should consider going during the "golden hours" of the day, when deer are more likely to be seen. It's a great way to end a day of visiting Mariposa grove or eating dinner at the Wawona Hotel.
