The Monuments and Memorials of Washington DC are each unique and important in their own way, so it's a great way to see them. The walk begins at the White House and goes through the National Mall, along the Reflecting Pool and to the US Capitol Building. The tour will take you through several important eras in the history of the United States, including the Revolutionary War, Vietnam War, Korean War, World War II, and past all three branches of government. It is a scenic walk and relaxing at the same time of year. You will have seen most of the tourist destinations in Washington DC after completing this walk.
