About This Trail
The fire tower on the mountain has a spectacular view of the Adirondack High Peaks. The trail is marked with disks. The sign in at the trail register is paraphrased. You will cross several small creeks in the next mile. The trail splits. The old road continues to the left, while the path you want bears right. You begin a climb after passing two cabins. The climb becomes more moderate after another mile. You will reach the fire tower soon. Climb the tower and see the panorama.
