About This Trail
This walk shows the terrain faced by escaped slaves as they make their way to freedom. The features of the trail are marked by little white signs. One must be careful not to wander off on one of the side trails if they see the only sign on the trail. If you walk up Meeting House Road, please observe silence near the Friends Meeting House. The road is private.
