Trout Pond and Long Mountain Loop

The longer hike around the Lake and campground areas is called the Long Mountain loop. The trail begins at the main lake parking lot area and ends on the west side of Rockledge Lake. It heads south from the intersection of Crackwhip Furnace trail to the top of the Long Mountain ridgeline. Go west until you reach the intersection with Trout Pond Trail. Go north and then back down the mountain to the campground. You can follow the trail to the main parking area by walking west through the campground.
