Trail Ridge Road [CLOSED]

It is open from Memorial Day weekend in May to Columbus Day in October. In the summer or late fall, temporary closings may occur because of snow. It opens earlier in May. The average close date is October 23 when the Park Service gives up fighting the snow and goes back to nature. It is closed during the winter between Many Parks Curve and the Colorado River.
