About This Trail
The trail is named after the point where the Pee Dee River and the Uwharrie River intersect. It is a great hike for a family. The trail goes through a floodplain and a ridgetop. The trumpet creeper, wing stem and spring beauty bloom at different times of the year. There are many chestnut oak and American beech trees on the ridgetop.
