Ted Wright Trail

" The trail goes on an old logging road, but you have to exit after a few hundred yards." It is not a clear definition of straight. The property is owned by the Canton LandConservation trust but not their trail easement. The trail goes from the west until it goes into a field and becomes north. Some parts of the road have been abandoned. It's 1.2 miles round trip and to and to about 2 miles each way. The trail goes up over the unnamed hill and then steeply goes down the hill to the south to a scenic view of new Hartford. The road has limited parking at the end of the trail. The trail is enjoyable in winter even though it is only in the winter. The route is colorful. A trail eventually goes to a 10 degree view.
