About This Trail
The Lake Allatoona was built by the Army Corps of Engineers and it surrounds the park on three sides. The most interesting part of the park is the hike on the homestead loop. This route takes you to the shoreline of the lake and there are wonderful views of Lake Allatoona from the ridges. You are likely to see deer as you walk the homestead loop.
