About This Trail
It's history is making it an interesting hike. They had a guide who was ill at the south camp during the time they traveled. The water was well-suited for use in medical procedures. Sacagawea was given it and she was well again. Many people have created spinoffs that make it hard to stay on the main trail. As a result, this trail is less likely to become dirty than other options in the area. Stay left until the trail forks and you'll be able to reach a plaque and overlook. You'll find the Belt Creek overlook at the small loop in the northern tip of the hike. This trail is off limits to bikes.
