About This Trail
If you want to leave Still House and return to the Still house trail you have to take the Elk Ridge trail which goes over a forested ridge. There is a trail which leads to Stillhouse Hollow Falls, the most important feature of the natural area. The trail crosses a creek that forms cascades before plunging 75 feet. There is a 90-acre state natural area located about 21 miles southwest of Columbia and three miles northeast of Summertown. There is a natural area on the Western Highland Rim. The geology of the region creates large and small waterfalls, which are both small and large.
