About This Trail

The hike is a nice hike in the wilderness. The trail starts at the creek and goes along a side hill with some pine trees. The aspen and pines are heavier on the ridge caps. The mule deer and other big game will be seen. The cow and calf moose were too afraid to let me get close enough to take a picture. The trail up the canyon is very moderate but it is worth the effort to get to the ridge top with the views of Pocatello to the north. The ridge leg of the trip leads through dense pines and mountain mahogany and offers a lot of ridge line views.
