About This Trail
The preserve has more than 20 different species of mammals and 100 species of birds. It is also home to many animals and plants. The main feature of the nature center is a lake. The wood duck is a popular sight at the first bridge. Mallards and Canada geese are common year-round. The plants and animals that live here are representative of those that live in an urban environment. Please refrain from feeding the ducks and geese.
