Sidewinder and Ocotillo Trail Loop

This loop begins at Carefree Hwy and 7th Ave. The Ocotillo part of the trail is fairly flat and the Sidewinder part has some elevation changes. The scenery and views of the Sonoran Desert are great. The loop can be used for mountain bikes and has elevation changes on the sidewinder part of the trail. The Ocotillo trail is close to Dove Valley road, but you are well into the desert. Mountain bikes make enough noise to keep snakes away from trails. Take at least 2 liters of water at the trail. There is no shade available.
