About This Trail
The Shingle Mill Pathway is found in the Pigeon River Country State Forest. The High Country Pathway is a popular bike-packing loop and it shares some of the Shingle Mill pathway. The trip is a good choice if you want to view the herds of animals and avoid large crowds. Pigeon Bridge campground is located on the side of the road. There is a campground a few miles up the trail that offers more secluded sites. There are a few sites worth checking out for those that arrive early. Section 4 does not allow camping within 600 feet.
