About This Trail
The Sheperd Spring trail begins at the north end of the campground and heads north to the seasonal waterfall before turning left to begin the loop. It leads along the ridgeline past several rock formations before connecting to the Ozark Highland trail, but only after passing the ruins of two homesteads.
