The Towpath Trail is located on the Enlarged Erie Canal. The 2.5 mile round trip trail begins at the Park Visitor's Center. The Empire Lock #29 and Lock #20 are from the original 1817 Canal. The Towpath Trail ends at the Yankee Hill Lock #28 and the Putnam Store Picnic Area.
