About This Trail
The Round Top Mountain 3.5 mile trail has a loop around the base of the mountain top bluffs with scenic rock formations and small remnants of a Bomber plan that crashed in the 1940's. The trail has some great views of Jasper and the surrounding area. The indian bluff shelter and amarker are on the trail. The trail starts with a series of switches backs and climbs until it reaches the mountain top. It was an easy trail. It only has a moderate rating for the beginning switch backs.
