Roemers High Point Trail [PRIVATE PROPERTY]

This trail is on private property, so please make sure that you understand. The mountain looks great and you caneasily hike to the right location close to home. You'll be following section 33 where there are aqua blazes. Two fires on a tree mean the trail is heading in the right direction. Next to Thacher Park lies a small skislope, which the first piece of the climb will take you up. There is a warming hut at the top of the slope. The trail goes into the woods. You'll have to pay attention to the aqua blazes. One can find a great picnic spot at the top of the climb. The south of Blackhead range is encompassed in the Catskills. You can locate Cole Hill and the road that goes through them to the west.
