The Robert Frost Trail is one of the longest trails in MA. It spans 10 towns from the south to the north. Section 7 is between the Amethyst brook conserver area and the Pratt Corner road. The quote is in the city of Amherst. The section is lightly traveled, except for the Amethyst brook area, which is home to many dogwalkers. The section is described as "rugged, wilderness-like" by the guide. It was the summit of Mt. Orient has limited views south and west. Between May 1st and October 31st is when mountain bikes are allowed.
