About This Trail
The main entrance is where you can take the Halifax Trail. The park has paved roads and many dog walkers. The trail goes into the woods and becomes more rugged as it climbs towards Hawk Rock. You can see all the way to NYC here. The trail leads to Havemeyer Rd and the pipe line road. Follow this up over Drag Hill. The area became a park in the 70's. The Cannonball Trail leads to the Camp Yaw Paw. Climb and cross the road again to see the valley. Descend to meet the creek.
