Pomo Canyon Trail to Shell Beach [CLOSED]

The Pomo Canyon Environmental Campsite is currently closed, but you can still do this hike. There is plenty of free parking at the trailhead, which is currently marked by a fence and a closed sign. The hike starts off a bit steep, but ends in a beautiful grove of ferns. You should look for wildflowers in the spring and early summer after a mile or two. You have to head down to Shell Beach after hiking through a meadow. The return hike is not as steep. It is recommended that you wear sunscreen and bring water.
