About This Trail
It's easy to overlook this short trail for people who live nearby. It is a great place to walk in the woods. The southern part of the trail has been damaged and is covered in sand. It is impassible if you are in a wheelchair. This is a wetlands with old growth trees. The bird life is happy. There are two great points to watch the sunrise over the Mississippi river. The trail and the woodland are closed from November to March in order to protect eagles.
